Passing through Overthorpe and Warkworth I became aware of traces of memories collected along the edges of the walk and the potential to employ these decorative shapes within the construction of a final piece

  1. hi T – I think my original comment for this post has disappeared due to the re-posting. I do love the description of ‘traces of memories’. This is also emerging as part of my own research – the connections of the past inhabitants to the places now; whether it’s through additional research and finding specific villagers ora wall plaque, memorial or simply a dedication on a wooden bench, for me it’s more about the people than the architecture.
